Job Summary:
The Graduate Assistant for Fraternity & Sorority Life supports the development of leadership initiatives, educational programs, and community-wide events within Fraternity & Sorority Life. This position will also assist with creating meaningful learning experiences for fraternity and sorority leaders, coordinating signature programs, managing event registration processes, and assessing student engagement and learning outcomes.
Primary responsibilities and expectations include:
Provide support to the Interfraternity Council (IFC) and College Panhellenic Council (CPC) in the coordination and implementation of council-sponsored programs, initiatives, and events.

Education Requirement:
The incumbent must be actively enrolled in a graduate degree seeking program, in Higher Education, Student Affairs, College Student Personnel, Educational Leadership or a similar program, in order to qualify for this position and must remain actively enrolled in a graduate degree seeking program for the duration of their employment in this position. This assistantship is intended for currently enrolled graduate students or individuals whose enrollment into a graduate degree program is imminent (E.g. student has been accepted into a graduate degree program and is awaiting the start classes in the immediate future). Incumbent should be seeking an experiential opportunity in their degree field which may or may not be a requirement for graduation.

Employment Dates: August 4, 2026 - May 28, 2027
Work Schedule: The GA is responsible for dedicating 900 hours to this position. The scheduled work hours will be arranged each semester in agreement with the supervisor of this position. Although not a requirement, the GA may also work an occasional late afternoon/evening slot to accommodate programming initiatives.
Pay Rate: The hourly rate is $17.00 and there are no benefits associated with this position.
