    AXS is looking for a Fraud Analyst to join the Finance team. You will be responsible for charting and analyzing fraud data, as well as designing and implementing new techniques to prevent future fraud.

    Responsibilities:  

    • Identifying and reporting on fraud trends as they occur to ensure we have the latest working parameters for the Fraud Systems.
    • Reviewing, investigating and resolving irregular transactions.
    • Assisting with researching and developing new fraud and risk detection models as well as modifications to existing systems to increase efficiency.
    • Review monthly charge back reports and block fraud related accounts.
    • Designing and applying new security controls.
    • Work with law enforcement in fraud related matters when necessary.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

    Qualifications:  

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • 2 year experience in e-Commerce Field
    • A solid understanding of current fraud trends and software applications
    • Methodical approach to problem solving and attention to detail
    • Ability to recognize patterns
    • Must have integrity and consistently exhibit strong work ethics
    • Strong PC knowledge, including MS office, Word and Excel
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with Fraud Detection Methods and Analysis
    • CPA or CIA accreditations a plus 

    Abilities Required: 

    • Requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential and insider information with regularity.
    • Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment and to prioritize goals.
    • Highly effective communicator to all levels within the company and with clients; able to clearly articulate the company's value proposition in oral and written communications.
    • Excellent data analytical skills.
