ABOUT THE ROLE

A well-established financial institution is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support fraud prevention and transaction review operations. This role is responsible for investigating suspicious activity, evaluating customer transaction patterns, and making informed decisions to help mitigate potential financial losses. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to resolve alerts efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review fraud alerts and determine appropriate actions to minimize potential financial losses.
• Investigate flagged transactions using internal banking systems, customer account history, and prior transaction activity.
• Partner with branch personnel and internal departments to clarify customer behavior and gather additional information as needed.
• Evaluate suspicious transactions and determine whether payments should be approved or declined based on investigation findings.
• Communicate investigation outcomes and recommended actions to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure records comply with established retention procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on fraud review processes and procedures as needed.
• Perform additional duties and support operational priorities as assigned by management.
