We are looking for dedicated and highly qualified professionals in Aviation Maintenance to support the Contractual effort in FRCSE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- set up and operate all types of conventional machines, computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines and related equipment in the manufacture, rework and repair of aircraft parts and components;
- set up and perform machining operations on conventional and CNC machine tools such as grinders, milling machines, lathes and drills;
- set up and operate 2, 3, 4, and 5 axis machining centers, electrical discharge machines, electron beam welders, electrolytic chemical grinders and CNC grinders;
- use a variety of machine tool attachments or related equipment to perform precision machine work;
- maintain accuracy IAW requirements of blueprints, drawings, sketches, work documents, aircraft technical documents, manuals, bulletins and directives; and
- produce assigned work IAW established standards; and
- perform all work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations in the production shop environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The Aircraft Machinist shall have at least two years of documented experience in Aerospace and/or machinist trade.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be a High School Graduate
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance
- Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and / or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned task.
- Must past pre-employment background check.
- Must past pre-employment and post-employment drug testing.
Preferred Qualification:
- have at least 4 years of documented experience in Aerospace and/or machinist trade.
- Active Secret Clearance
