Freelance Digital Production Designer (Sitecore XM Cloud)
Remote - Contract - W2 Only (No Sponsorship/C2C)
We're seeking a Freelance Digital Production Designer with hands-on Sitecore XM Cloud experience to help build and launch engaging digital experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating approved designs into polished, production-ready web pages while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain web pages within Sitecore XM Cloud using approved Figma designs and existing design system components.
Configure page layouts, styling, content, images, video, links, and metadata using Sitecore Page Builder.
Review design mockups for implementation feasibility and recommend solutions when custom development is needed.
Partner with UX, marketing, and development teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Perform visual QA and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure accuracy across devices and browsers.
Create and manage Jira tickets for enhancements, defects, and implementation issues.
Maintain Figma style guides, components, variables, and design specifications that support Sitecore implementation.
Requirements:
Experience with Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore Experience Editor, or a comparable enterprise CMS.
Strong understanding of component-based design systems.
Experience assembling and managing web content within a CMS.
Ability to translate Figma or other design mockups into production-ready web pages.
Experience performing visual QA and identifying design inconsistencies.
Proficiency with Figma, including components, styles, and variables.
Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with design systems, design tokens, and responsive web design.
Knowledge of accessibility best practices.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and component-based front-end architecture.
Experience supporting website launches, content migrations, or Agile development teams.
