Our client, a boutique experiential agency, is looking for a Freelance Event Coordinator to assist their team on a Seattle-based event. The dates for this event are 5/11, 5/18, 6/1, and 6/22 with a preference for one person to handle all listed dates. Hours are 7 am to 5:45 pm each day
The Freelance Event Coordinator will:
-assist with event setup, and oversee event logistics (vendor coordination, tracking attendee lists, etc.)
-communicate with client to understand event goals, budgets, and expectations
-oversee on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown
-coordinate with internal teams and external partners (catering, AV, production, etc.)
-track budgets, expenses, and invoices
-ensure events run smoothly and handle any issues in real time
The Freelance Event Coordinator has:
-ideally 3+ years of experience in event coordination / on-site event activation (large-scale corporate events preferred)
-strong project management skills, and ability to communicate directly with vendors and partners
-excellent attention to detail
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
