Freelance Marketing Content Editor to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $35/hr - $40/hr
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Freelance Marketing Content Editor (NYC Local) for a 2-week project to cover paternity leave, ensuring all promotional copy aligns with style standards, is grammatically precise, and meets production deadlines. This role supports marketing efforts by proofreading and editing diverse promotional materials while maintaining clear communication across teams.
Responsibilities of the Freelance Marketing Content Editor:- Ensure copy adheres to organizational standards and style guidelines, is grammatically correct, and contains all necessary information.
- Proofread and copyedit marketing promotional pieces, including emails, social media posts, graphics, and other collateral.
- Produce all work on time to meet established deadlines.
- Maintain effective communication within the department and across the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance Marketing Content Editor:- Superior knowledge and comfort with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Slack, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask with impeccable attention to detail.
- Interest and background in public interest, legal services, or current events.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Freelance Marketing Content Editor:- Experience editing marketing content in a legal or professional education environment.
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Salesforce, and Sendible is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Strong proofreading skills with a focus on style consistency.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
