Overview The Saatchi Analytics team believes the value of analytics is not simply in producing data, but in helping teams make smarter marketing decisions through thoughtful analysis, clear storytelling, and actionable insights. The Senior Analyst is a hands-on role supporting 1-3 analysis in the time allotted. This person will work across multiple projects and datasets, using strong exploratory data analysis skills to assess data quality, identify meaningful patterns, and translate findings into clear insights. Success in this role requires curiosity, analytical rigor, and adaptability. The ideal candidate is comfortable being given an unfamiliar dataset and an open-ended business question, independently determining the appropriate analytical approach, and clearly communicating what the data tells us. Responsibilities Independently evaluate new datasets and determine appropriate analytical approaches based on the business question. Conduct exploratory data analysis across a variety of marketing and advertising datasets. This could include campaign performance, survey results, market insights (sales, purchase motivators, etc.). Clean, structure, and QA datasets to ensure analyses are accurate and reliable. Perform descriptive analysis to identify trends, patterns, outliers, relationships, and opportunities for deeper investigation. Translate analytical findings into clear observations, insights, and implications for internal teams. Support multiple analytics projects and deliverables, shifting between different business questions and datasets as priorities evolve. Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes through automation, AI, or more efficient workflows. Partner with Analytics Directors to support broader client analyses and deliverables. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in analytics, preferably within advertising, media, research, or a related field. Strong exploratory data analysis skills, including data cleaning, QA, descriptive analysis, and interpretation. Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated experience working with large or complex datasets. Experience with Python, R, and/or SQL not required, but ideal. Ability to independently approach ambiguous or open-ended analytical questions and determine what can be learned from the available data. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to distinguish meaningful findings from noise.
