Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate Join to apply for the Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate role at Sam's ClubThe Freezer, Cooler, and Deli Stocker is a role focused on stocking, maintaining safety and sanitation, customer service, and following company policies in the freezer, cooler, and deli areas. This position supports operations to keep shelves stocked, temperatures controlled, and products ready for members.Responsibilities Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposal of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.Keep the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area in accordance with company policies; receive, stock, sign and price merchandise; manage returns and damaged goods; complete required audits and documentation; and secure fragile or high-shrink merchandise.Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues; promote company products and services.Follow Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler areas by complying with food handling policies; operate, repair, and sanitize equipment; follow Cold Chain procedures; clean the freezer/cooler/deli area; monitor equipment operation; and report issues to management.Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area and ensure high-quality products are available for members.Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays.Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or olderExperience with stocking and customer service is preferredAbility to adapt to changing work scenarios and think creatively to drive changeDemonstrated commitment to member satisfactionExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCompensation and Benefits Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hrHealth benefits include medical, vision and dental coverageFinancial benefits include 401(k), stock purchase and company-paid life insurancePaid time off benefits include PTO, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting; may include additional paid leave where applicableOther benefits include short-term and long-term disability, employee discounts, and eligibility for education programsAdditional information The hourly wage range and benefits are described above and may vary by location and job classification.
