THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The Parcel Claims Analyst is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end parcel claims process, with a focus on automation, analysis, and performance improvement. This role supports outbound parcel shipments across multiple carriers and ensures that all claims are accurately processed, monitored, and escalated as needed. The Parcel Claims Analyst manages automated claims workflows, investigates denials, validates key metrics, and provides reporting and insights to drive process improvement, resolution and recovery.
In addition to claims oversight, this role plays a critical part in identifying process inefficiencies, recommending and implementing improvements, and supporting data integrity across systems and dashboards. This individual partners closely with carriers, vendors, DCs, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot operational gaps, enforce compliance with agreements, and enhance claims performance outcomes.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Manages the end-to-end lifecycle of parcel claims, from identifying potential cases and facilitating reimbursement and confirming payment receipt, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Supports automated claims processing, identifies operational issues, and implements solutions within established processes to ensure continuity.
- Review denied claims for accuracy, ensure carrier compliance, and initiate disputes as needed.
- Confirms carrier claim acknowledgements and tracks outcomes, updating reporting and dashboards accordingly.
- Partners with Asset Protection, Guest Services, and Digital teams to support identification of fraudulent activity and align priorities and processes.C
- Conduct diagnostic and trend analysis of transportation claims to evaluate carrier performance and identify root causes of claim denials, determining whether issues stem from carrier handling, internal processes, or packaging, and translating findings into actionable operational improvements.
- Maintain internal SOPs and training materials
- Contribute to dashboard/report updates

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, or 2-5 years’ experience working within a Logistics/Distribution/Supply Chain environment preferred with focus on Parcel Claims with understanding of key operational processes and business drivers.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot process issues and perform root cause analysis to drive effective resolution and long-term improvements.
- Resolve conflicts/discrepancies positively and professionally.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in process improvement, best practices, and data analysis, including foundational awareness of data querying and advanced analytical techniques.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using SAP/S4, Microsoft Power BI, and advanced Excel.
- Organized with strong time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities, contributing to projects and process improvement initiatives as a team member.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to communicate and build relationships with carriers, management, and cross-functional partners to support collaboration, while clearly communicating data insights and trends in an understandable manner.
- Self-motivated, action-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal direction, while working within established processes and procedures.
- Responds to operation requests and discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues with appropriate support.
- Enthusiastic, persistent, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.

The pay range for this position is $57,300.00 - $94,200.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
