Freight Broker

Join Amhof Trucking, a leading asset-based carrier in eastern Iowa! We are seeking a motivated Freight Broker to handle overflow freight and expand our growing brokerage department.Key Responsibilities:Prospect, develop, and maintain a consistent book of direct shipper customers.Secure spot and contractual freight opportunities exceeding company asset capacity.Negotiate competitive rates with shippers and third-party carriers to maximize margins.Quote rates quickly using TMS, DAT, and Truckstop.Track shipments, dispatch carriers, and provide proactive updates to customers.Qualifications:1+ years of Transportation or Logistics experience (Preferred).Proficiency in Microsoft Office; McLeod TMS & Samsara experience is a plus.Strong negotiation, multi-tasking, and communication skills.Full Benefits Package:BCBS Health, Dental, and Life Insurance.401(k) with company match.2 weeks paid vacation + paid holidays.Apply at amhof.com
