About the Role:
International Commodity Carriers Inc. is looking for a driven and motivated Freight Broker to join our team in Medford, OR! This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful carrier and shipper relationships while playing a key role in moving freight across the country. Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and book freight loads with shippers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of carriers and shippers
• Track and trace shipments, providing proactive updates to customers throughout the freight lifecycle
• Negotiate competitive freight rates to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
• Manage load boards and utilize TMS (Transportation Management Systems) to match freight with available carriers
• Resolve shipping issues, delays, and disputes with a solutions-oriented approach
• Meet and exceed individual sales and revenue targets on a consistent basis

Requirements:

• Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency with load boards (DAT, Truckstop.com) and TMS software
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mindset
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and freight industry standards is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or logistics preferred
