What You'll Do
- Manage and expand an existing book of business while developing new customer relationships
- Generate new freight opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your customers and carriers
- Negotiate rates and secure capacity using carrier relationships, load boards, and internal resources
- Collaborate with operations and carrier sales teams to ensure exceptional service execution
- Utilize McLeod software, pricing tools, AI technology, and transportation platforms to manage freight efficiently
- Identify opportunities for account growth, increased margins, and long-term partnerships

What You Bring
- Previous experience in freight brokerage, transportation sales, logistics sales, or carrier sales
- Existing customer relationships or an established book of business preferred
- Demonstrated success generating revenue in a commission-based environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of freight markets, pricing, and transportation operations
- Experience using transportation management systems and load boards preferred
- A self-motivated, results-driven approach to business development
