About the Role

Step into a fast-paced operation where the dock is your command center. As our Freight Planning & Logistics Coordinator, you’ll keep inbound materials and outbound finished goods moving on time and on budget. This temporary, full-time assignment is anticipated to run for at least one month.

A Day in the Life

Your day kicks off at 6:30 AM as you review production priorities and carrier schedules. You align with operations, engineering, purchasing, and sales to lock in what must ship today and what needs to arrive to keep builds on track. You confirm bookings, optimize loads and routes for cost and timing, and communicate shipment details to internal teams and external partners. On the floor, you oversee receiving, verify documentation flows to the right departments, and enforce quality controls to prevent damage and ensure precise tracking. You update and refine SOPs, coach staff on safe, consistent practices, and keep materials, supplies, and the workspace organized and compliant. Throughout the day, you price out shipments, support cost-control efforts, and represent logistics in production meetings to anticipate needs across departments.
