    Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at working with numbers and data? We are seeking a Freight Processor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing freight accounts, calculating charges, and ensuring accurate processing of transportation-related information.
     
    This is a fully remote position, however, there may be occasional periods when in-office training or meetings are required for employees residing within a 60-mile radius of our office in Conklin, New York.
     
    To be considered for employment, candidates must reside in the Southern Tier of New York or Northeast Pennsylvania at the time of application. Applicants located outside of these geographic areas will not be considered for this position.

    Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Process freight accounts and determine appropriate charges.
    • Accurately enter and maintain information within company systems.
    • Calculate freight rates, mileage, and applicable overflow charges.
    • Utilize our client’s Corrections Calculator tools to ensure accurate billing.
    • Review account information for completeness and accuracy.
    • Research and resolve discrepancies as needed.
    • Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting deadlines.
    • Works to achieve and maintain an acceptable rate and quality to meet or exceed customer requirements. Hourly rates will apply after training is complete.
    • Potential to assist in the training of employees to perform job.
    • Able to receive constructive feedback with an objective open mind.
    • Willingness to be cross trained in other departments to meet company daily production commitments.
    Qualifications
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
    • Ability to learn and utilize freight processing software and calculators.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Previous transportation, logistics, billing, or freight processing experience preferred but not required.
    • Previous Data Entry Experience is a plus but not required
    • Microsoft Office experience preferred
    • File Sharing Experience preferred

    PAY RANGE:
    ADEC Solutions uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established considering the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements and the geographic location differential. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
    Entry Level Pay Range $16.30-$17.00 per hour.
