Job Title: Freight Sales - International and Domestic

Position Overview:

The company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Freight Sales professional with expertise in both international and domestic freight services. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of global supply chain logistics and the ability to provide tailored freight solutions to meet the needs of a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in both international and domestic freight sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, freight brokers, and logistics partners.
  • Customize freight forwarding and transportation solutions including air, ocean, and ground shipments based on client needs.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and post-sale support.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, trade regulations, and competitor activity to advise clients effectively.
  • Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate sales records and generate reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in freight sales, including international and domestic freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation modes, trade compliance, Incoterms, and freight documentation.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing client portfolio or book of business in freight forwarding or trucking sectors.
  • Multilingual abilities to serve diverse international clients.
  • Experience with specific industries such as manufacturing, automotive, retail, or pharmaceuticals.
