Duties and Responsibilities
- Audit freight invoices and claims for accuracy and compliance with shipping agreements
- Investigate and process freight damage claims, loss claims, and billing discrepancies
- Manage freight-related expense documentation and maintain organized claim records
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve transportation issues
- Track and monitor resolution timelines to ensure timely claim settlement
- Identify trends in freight problems and recommend process improvements
- Reconcile shipping costs against contracted rates and identify overcharges
- Document all transactions and maintain audit trails for compliance purposes
- Assist in the management of third-party freight vendor and carrier processes
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in transportation.
- Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Strong phone presence, listening and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Solution oriented, self-starter and results oriented.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
- Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning. Able to learn, teach and lead.

- Knowledge of transportation-related terminology.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in transportation.
