PVPA has an opportunity for a part time (.20 FTE) French Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for a reflective practitioner who understands the varied needs of high school students, is interested in integrating the arts into the curriculum, teaching with a social justice lens, collaborating with colleagues, and has experience in implementing restorative practices in the classroom. Our goal is to offer a core sequence of study that will help students develop confidence in using the language while laying the groundwork for fluency. We use an integrated curriculum that challenges students to blend creative and critical thinking into their work and provides options for project-based learning. At PVPA, all students have the opportunity to study at least one language in addition to English by the time they graduate from high school. We believe that:

Salary Range: Full time base salary $43,268 to $68,719 annually.
2026-2027 school year consists of 180 school days plus 5 professional development/curriculum work days and a thirty-five hour work week (for full-time) that includes, on average, three class blocks per day of collaborative/independent work time.
