Fresh Food Manufacturing Plant Sr. Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for day to day operation of Fresh Food Manufacturing central commissary operation: purchasing raw materials, processing/cooking/packaging of food products, maintenance of all equipment in commissary, compliance, and fiscal performance.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 5 to 10 years experience
• Education Desired: Bachelor's degree

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the food processing plant
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage production schedules to meet customer demands
• Maintain strict compliance with the FDA and USDA regulations. Ensure the facility passes audits and follows SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards
• Recruit, train, and develop managers, shift supervisors, and line workers. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching. Ensure employee engagement and accountability across entire workforce.
• Develop a continuous improvement culture that fosters ideas and implements improvements in process, safety, people, and quality
• Implement and enforce quality control standards
• Develop and manage the plant budget
• Develop and implement plant policies and procedures
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making
• Coordination/Collaboration with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance
• Develop cooking and packing methods for new items requested by customer

The hiring range for this position is $93800.00- $125050.00 per hour/year. This range represents the anticipated base pay for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. Eligible employees may be offered health, vision, and dental insurance, personal/sick paid time, 401(k) retirement savings plan, bonus potential, paid bereavement, vacation and paid holidays.
