About UsAlways Best Care of Fairfax is committed to delivering personalized, client-centered care throughout Fairfax County. We are currently hiring for a Friendly CNA/PCA for Alzheimer's Client. Shifts are positioned to help with wake up (10:00a-2:00p) or bedtime routine (5:00p-9:00p). These shifts work well for those who are looking for extra hours on top of other shifts that they work.

Position OverviewWe are seeking a sweet, friendly, and compassionate CNA/PCA to provide one-on-one care for a client living with Alzheimer's disease. The ideal caregiver has a warm personality, enjoys engaging with seniors, and understands how to build trust through patience, kindness, and gentle encouragement. Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, meal preparation, safety supervision, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). The client responds especially well to caregivers who are positive, personable, and able to create a calm, reassuring environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide respectful and gentle personal care
• Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
• Maintain a safe and peaceful home environment
• Collaborate with family members and care teams to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of Virginia (preferred) or Experienced PCA or CNA Certified
• Experience with Dementia preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and emotionally attuned to client needs
