Medical Front Desk / Insurance Authorization Specialist

Full-Time | No Weekends

Starting pay: $19–$22/hour DOE

We are hiring a strong, detail-oriented front desk professional who wants to grow beyond basic check-in duties.

This role combines patient services with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and benefit investigation — valuable healthcare administrative skills that increase long-term earning potential.

We are a growing retina practice seeing patients three days per week, with administrative work on Mondays and Fridays. No weekends.

Starting pay: $19–$22/hour DOE
Opportunity to earn up to +$7/ additional per hour through education and skill advancement.

What You’ll Do

• Patient check-in and check-out
• Multi-line phone management
• Insurance verification
• Pre-authorizations for procedures
• Benefit investigation
• EMR data entry
• Cross-train in billing or technician support as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year medical front desk or insurance experience preferred
• Comfortable speaking with insurance companies
• Strong communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Team player who is willing to cross-train
