Front Desk Agent

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team! As one of the first and last people our guests interact with, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

In this role, you’ll help create a great guest experience from the moment they arrive, providing warm and professional service while assisting with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, guest questions, and day-to-day front desk needs.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays calm in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in making guests feel welcome. If you’re someone who is naturally friendly, organized, and ready to go the extra mile for our guests, we’d love to meet you!

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Location: Tides - 1 Center St, Folly Beach, SC 29439

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests with a positive and professional attitude
• Check guests in and out quickly and accurately
• Handle reservations, room requests, and guest questions
• Promote hotel amenities, services, and upgrades
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready
• Process payments, cash handling, and guest account charges
• Answer phones, messages, and guest requests professionally
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and fun front desk environment
• Follow hotel safety, security, and guest service standards

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and team-player mindset
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable using computers, phones, and office equipment
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Hotel or customer service experience is a plus
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
