We are currently seeking a Front Desk Agent who is passionate about delivering elevated, guest-centered service. This position is ideal for someone who naturally creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, understands the importance of first impressions, and thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of the hotel and the first point of contact for each guest. You will be responsible for creating a seamless arrival and departure experience while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hospitality. Your daily responsibilities will include greeting and checking in guests, answering questions, handling reservations, resolving concerns with tact and efficiency, and maintaining an organized and polished front desk area. You will also coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience throughout their stay.
Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask gracefully under pressure. You should be comfortable managing a variety of tasks, including responding to emails and phone calls, processing payments accurately, updating guest records, and providing knowledgeable assistance about hotel services and local attractions. Most importantly, you should take pride in providing thoughtful, sincere service that exceeds guest expectations.
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or GED and previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is important, and familiarity with hotel property management systems is a plus. Candidates must be available to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role also requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
