- Welcomes and registers guests in a polite and efficient demeanor
- Assigns rooms to meet guests needs as permissible
- Obtains required credit and payment information from guests
- Coordinates with team members to exceed guest expectations
- Provides detailed information about the hotel and surrounding establishments
- Coordinates with housekeeping for special requests, late checkouts, and room changes
- Receives and relays guest messages
- Answers telephone calls and guest questions in a warm, responsive manner
- Maintains cleanliness of equipment in work areas
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform Night Audit reports as required

Represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Works closely with the housekeeping and maintenance department. Must be sales-minded. Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices. Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property. Performs cashiering tasks like bill / invoice settlement, posting charges to the guest rooms.
