    Job Description

    The Club Host plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for all members and guests. This position serves as the first point of contact at the Club, providing exceptional customer service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the guest stay, while upholding the Club's service and hospitality standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Greet members and guests promptly with a warm and sincere welcome.

    • Check guests in and out efficiently and courteously, confirming reservations, room rates, and method of payment.

    • Provide accurate information about Club amenities, events, services, and local attractions.

    • Knowledge of Opera Cloud- Not required but preferred.

    • Respond promptly to member and guest requests, questions, and concerns with professionalism and care.

    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of current room rates, packages, and promotions.

    • Handle all cash, credit card, and check transactions accurately; balance the assigned cash drawer at the end of each shift.

    • Process guest payments, vouchers, and adjustments as needed.

    • Issue and program room keys; ensure confidentiality and security of all guest information.

    • Answer phone calls courteously, transfer calls appropriately, and relay messages accurately.

    • Retrieve and distribute mail, packages, and faxes to guests as needed.

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.

    • Communicate effectively with other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Food & Beverage) to ensure seamless guest experiences.

    • Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures as required by the Club.

    • Complete shift checklists and reports accurately and on time.

    • Uphold the Club's values and service standards at all times.

    Qualifications

    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    • Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service or front desk experience preferred (hospitality or club environment a plus).

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

    • Proficient in computer systems and ability to learn property management software.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.

    • Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

    • Reliable and punctual attendance required.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

    • Light work: may occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.

    • Frequent walking, bending, and use of hands to operate computers and office equipment.
