JOB SUMMARYThe Front Desk Associate holds the responsibility for the effective operation of building access and overflow department help. This includes internal customer service, vendor access, ID badge production and records, conference room scheduling, general office tasks, cross-training to help other departments with overflow work, and other duties as needed and assigned.JOB DUTIESSupport day-to-day operations for the front of the buildingFacilitation of building access for vendors and assistance for staffManage incoming and outgoing deliveriesIdentify and report potential security concernsOperate and maintain employee badge system and recordsMaintaining conference room schedule as neededCross-train to assist other departments with ongoing or special projects (mass mailings, UTEX, QI spreadsheets, or others as needed)Promote cohesiveness in the office environmentSupport day-to-day operationsProvide excellent customer service to internal and external clientsData entry and other clerical tasksOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or GED preferredKnowledge and experience working in a dynamic office environment are helpfulMicrosoft Office experience preferredBe able to successfully pass a background screeningThe incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
