About the Role:
TUSK DENTAL SPECIALISTS PC in Falls Church, VA is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our dental practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and love helping patients feel at ease, this is the perfect opportunity for you!



Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
• Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct patients to appropriate staff
• Verify dental insurance benefits and process claims and co-payments
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office
• Handle billing, invoicing, and end-of-day reconciliation tasks

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare administration education a plus
• Prior experience in a dental or medical front desk/receptionist role preferred
• Preferable to be familiar with dental practice management software Ortho2 
• Preferable to have Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes
