Front Desk Concierge

We are a fast-paced, high-end cataract and retina surgical practice in Morristown, NJ, seeking a polished, professional Front Desk Concierge to serve as the first impression for our patients. This position blends medical front desk responsibilities with a concierge-level focus on the patient experience.

The right candidate will answer phones, greet patients, coordinate premium surgical consults, and help patients navigate life-changing vision care. This is a mission-critical role for someone who thrives under pressure and loves helping people.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting patients and managing check-in/check-out
• Handling high-volume phone calls and triaging patient needs
• Scheduling cataract evaluations, retina visits, and postop care
• Collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, and confirming eligibility
• Communicating with empathy, clarity, and urgency
• Supporting our surgical counselor and physicians for smooth patient flow

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience at a medical front desk (ophthalmology, dermatology, or dental preferred)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfort with multitasking in a busy medical office
• Familiarity with EHR (Nextech experience a plus)
• Bonus if familiar with premium lenses or LASIK-type surgical services

Schedule:

Monday to Friday | No weekends
