Front Desk Coordinator
We are hiring aFront Desk Coordinator. You’re the first person patients see and the one keeping the schedule, the financials, and the day-to day running smoothly behind the scenes. Dental experience is preferred, but we’ll train the right person.
What You’ll Own
- Patient Experience: Warm, professional check-in and check-out. Friendly, helpful phone manner.
- Scheduling: Build and manage a productive daily schedule for one or more providers.
- Insurance & Financials: Verify benefits, build breakdowns, present treatment plans, and collect co-pays accurately.
- Communication: Handle calls, confirmations, patient questions, and follow-ups with confidence.
- Front Office Operations: Maintain clean patient records in Open Dental and keep the office running day-to-day.
What You Bring
- Dental front office experience preferred — but strong customer service experience in another field works too
- Understanding of dental insurance, CDT codes, and benefit breakdowns preferred — we’ll train if you have the right attitude
- Comfort presenting treatment plans to patients clearly and confidently
- Experience with Open Dental or similar practice management software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills — you can handle a full schedule and a ringing phone at the same time
- A genuinely friendly, professional presence
