What drives us Recovery Consultants of Atlanta is a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1999 by a group of concerned, committed, and spiritually centered members of the Metro-Atlantas 12-Step and faith-based addiction recovery communities. Over the years, the organization has grown and expanded its services for both clients and patients by offering an array of comprehensive Primary Care Services through its Community Health Center, which enhances and supplements all services being provided at RCA.

Make a difference as a Front Desk Coordinator The Full Time Front Desk Coordinator at Recovery Consultants of Atlanta will serve as the vital first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, and partners, employing trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices to foster an empathetic atmosphere. This role is central to facilitating timely access to care by efficiently managing patient flow and minimizing wait times, while ensuring that patients fully understand the intake processes and scheduling expectations.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Verifying insurance eligibility
  • Maintaining accurate documentation to support compliance with CARF and CCBHC Core Standards

This position also involves operational coordination tasks such as:

  • Managing the front desk environment
  • Maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Supporting billing staff in resolving discrepancies

The Front Desk Coordinator will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere aligned with RCAs mission while contributing to an organized and efficient operational workflow.

What you need to be successful To excel as a Full Time Front Desk Coordinator at Recovery Consultants of Atlanta, candidates must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (with an Associates or Bachelors degree preferred)
  • A minimum of two years of healthcare administration or front desk experience
  • A solid understanding of insurance verification, scheduling, and intake processes
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills for maintaining an efficient front desk operation
  • Outstanding customer service abilities, as they will be the initial point of contact for clients
  • Professional management of confidential information

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in behavioral health or community health settings
  • Familiarity with CARF and CCBHC accreditation standards
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
