About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited (PSU) is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator / Administrative Assistant for a well-established professional services office in Shelby, NC.
This opportunity is ideal for a polished, organized professional who takes pride in creating an exceptional client experience while keeping a busy office running smoothly. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you'll play a key role in maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and professional office environment.
What You’ll Do
As the Front Desk Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and team members while helping keep the office running efficiently each day.
Responsibilities Include:
- Welcome clients, visitors, and applicants with a warm, professional attitude, creating an exceptional first impression as the first point of contact for the office.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate conference room usage.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages, and prepare outgoing mail and electronic correspondence.
- Perform administrative duties including scanning, filing, copying, organizing documents, and providing support to office staff.
- Open the office each morning by preparing reception and common areas for the day and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.
- Prepare conference rooms for meetings and maintain hospitality stations, including coffee, water, refreshments, and meeting supplies.
- Monitor and reorder office and reception supplies to help keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Handle confidential client and company information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
Qualifications

Preferred Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree preferred
- Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front Desk, Administrative Assistant, Office Coordinator or Customer Service role preferred.
