    FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE - FULL TIME 7 AM - 3PM

    Position Summary: As a Hotel Front Desk Agent, you are the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in shaping their experience. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from check-in to check-out, ensuring every guest feels valued and their needs are met with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This is an ideal role for someone who loves interacting with people, is highly organized, and enjoys a dynamic work environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Guest Services:
      • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure.
      • Efficiently check guests in and out, processing payments and providing necessary information.
      • Answer guest inquiries in person and over the phone, providing accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
      • Address guest concerns, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, striving for a positive resolution.
      • Handle luggage assistance and provide directions as needed.
    • Reservations & Administration:
      • Manage room reservations, modifications, and cancellations with precision.
      • Maintain accurate guest records and room assignments.
      • Process mail, messages, and calls for guests.
      • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
    • Hotel Operations:
      • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and front desk area.
      • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage) to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
      • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
      • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to assist guests.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency with basic computer applications. (Experience with hotel property management systems (Hotel Key or Pep) is a plus.
    • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • A positive attitude and a professional appearance.
