Position Overview:The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests by greeting and seating them in a friendly and efficient manner. This role manages wait times, coordinates seating flow, and supports overall guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, entertainment-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
Manage waitlists and provide accurate wait time estimates
Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries
Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding seating and guest needs
Assist with crowd control during peak hours
Provide menus and inform guests of specials or promotions
Support overall guest experience from arrival to departure
