About the Role:
Compass Dental in Fort Worth, TX is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Front Desk / Insurance Verification Specialist to be the welcoming face of our practice! Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
• Collect co-pays, process payments, and manage patient billing inquiries
• Accurately enter and maintain patient demographic and insurance information in the system
• Communicate insurance coverage details clearly to patients and clinical staff
• Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries in a timely, courteous manner

Requirements:

• Prior dental or medical front desk experience is needed
• Experience with dental insurance verification and benefit coordination
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (OpenDental)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, patient-centered attitude with a positive demeanor
• High school diploma or equivalent required
