About the Role:
Silver State Sports Medicine is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Medical Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice in Henderson, NV. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences while keeping our medical office running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays/deductibles/co-insurance at time of service
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EHR system
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to clinical staff
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and communication with insurance providers
• Ensure front desk area is organized, stocked, and compliant with HIPAA privacy standards

Requirements:

• 2+ years of front desk or administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology, EHR/EMR systems, and insurance verification processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Proficient in multi-line phone systems, scheduling software, and basic computer applications
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare administration degree a plus

Schedule:
     Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 5pm; Friday 7:45am - 3pm
