    Description

    Summary: Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and medical facility. The main duty of this position is checking in / out patients, in-coming calls, collection of payments, and scheduling.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Include the following, other duties may be assigned

    • Checks in daily patients confirming demographics, current insurances, and DME.
    • Collection of any balances that are due, co-pays, deductibles
    • Enters Patient forms before appointment
    • Checks out daily patients, scheduling future appointments
    • Scanning of documents to patient charts
    • Educate patients on sleep study and DME process
    • Call patients to confirm their appointments
    • Forwarding Sleep Lab daily patient list for sleep studies
    • Daily deposits and reports
    • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Education, Credentials, Certification, and/or Experience:

    • High School Diploma or GED, 2-year degree preferred
    • EMR/EHR experience (Preferred)
    • Previous work experience in a medical office setting
    • Ability to multitask

    • Strong interpersonal / CSR skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Good computer skills
    • Good organizational skills
    • Competent in usage of office equipment
