Front Desk Team Member / Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.)
HealthCARE Express is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized team member to join our clinic as a Director of First Impressions, or D.O.F.I. This is our front desk role, but it is much more than simply checking patients in. Our D.O.F.I. team helps set the tone for each patient's visit while keeping important front office processes moving throughout the day.
If you enjoy working with people, can juggle multiple priorities, and are comfortable in a busy environment, this may be a great fit.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will help support both our patients and the day-to-day operations of the clinic. Duties may include:
• Welcoming patients and assisting with the check-in process
• Confirming patient demographics and insurance information
• Answering incoming calls professionally and promptly
• Scanning, organizing, and accurately maintaining patient documentation
• Collecting payments and maintaining patient account records
• Making sure clinic forms remain stocked and organized
• Responding to patient questions and concerns in a professional manner
• Maintaining patient privacy and following HIPAA requirements
• Communicating and working closely with providers and other team members
• Participating in cross-training and stepping in where support is needed throughout the clinic
Because healthcare can be unpredictable, this position may occasionally require assisting with tasks outside the usual scope of front desk duties to help support clinic operations and patient care.
Pay and Schedule
• Pay: $15.00 per hour
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Full-time: 30 or more hours per week

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with strong communication and customer service skills who can stay organized, pay attention to details, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical setting. Basic computer skills are important, and previous familiarity with medical office operations is helpful.
