Dentistry for Children and Adolescents is looking for a friendly, reliable, outgoing, and motivated bilingual (Spanish/English) team member to join our pediatric dental team!We are specifically seeking someone who is fluent in both Spanish and English to help us provide excellent communication and care to our Spanish-speaking patients and their families.We are hiring for either a Front Desk Receptionist OR a Dental Assistant. You will be considered for the position that best matches your experience, strengths, and interests. You will NOT be expected to perform both roles.If you have customer service or front-office experience, we would love to hear from you. If you're interested in becoming a dental assistant but don't have dental experience, that's okay! We provide on-the-job training, and prior dental assisting experience or certification is not required.Front Desk ReceptionistOur front desk team plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our patients and their families. Responsibilities include:Greeting patients and parents with a friendly and professional attitudeCommunicating with patients and families in both Spanish and EnglishScheduling and managing appointmentsChecking patients in and outVerifying insuranceAnswering phones and assisting families with questionsProviding excellent customer servicePerforming other front-office duties as neededFront desk experience or dental knowledge is preferred but not required. Customer service experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and a positive, personable attitude are important.Dental AssistantOur dental assistants work alongside our dentists to provide excellent care to children, teenagers, and patients with special needs. Responsibilities include:Assisting the dentist during treatment proceduresSetting up and breaking down operatoriesTaking dental radiographs (x-rays) after appropriate trainingProviding patients and parents with post-treatment instructionsCommunicating with patients and families in both Spanish and EnglishEducating patients on proper oral hygieneMaintaining a clean and organized clinical environmentPerforming other clinical duties as neededNo prior dental assisting experience is required. No dental assistant certification is required.
