Job Description: Front Desk/Patient Coordinator
Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in costumer service setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable phone and e-mail etiquette.
- Ability to calculate basic numbers and explain patient balances.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Check patients in and out, verify insurance information, and collect co-pays/balances.
- Schedule appointments using our electronic medical scheduling system (Oryx).
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information.
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
Working schedule is:
- Monday 8:30 - 5:00.
- Tuesday: as needed.
- Wednesday 9 - 5:00.
- Thursday 9:00 - 5:00.
- Friday 7:30 - 3:00.
- All team members required to participate in team building and community engagement social events. Community involvement is an important part of the job.
