About the Role:
Texas Vital Orthopedic & Spine Corp in Irving, Texas is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Patient Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice. In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering an exceptional patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
  • Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments
  • Maintain and update accurate patient demographic and medical records
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly
  • Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance carriers as needed
  • Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of front desk or patient coordinator experience in a medical or orthopedic setting preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish for Irving is a plus. 
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and general computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume clinical environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative certification a plus
