The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing a welcoming, professional, and efficient experience for every guest. This position handles guest arrivals and departures, reservations, payments, guest questions, and service concerns while helping maintain smooth daily front desk operations.
Welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
Process reservations, cancellations, room changes, and guest requests.
Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate hotel information.
Process cash and credit card transactions according to hotel procedures.
Maintain accurate guest accounts and reservation information.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and complaints.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest needs.
Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and the surrounding area.
Monitor the front desk and lobby to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Protect guest privacy and confidential hotel information.
Follow hotel safety, security, cash-handling, and emergency procedures.
Complete shift reports, documentation, and other assigned front desk duties.
Assist other departments when necessary to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
