Under the general supervision of the Dental Office Supervisor, the Front Desk Receptionist manages the arrival and departure of patients seeking services at the Dental Department. The responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist include answering the telephones, checking patients in and out of the clinic, registering new patients as well as updating existent patient information in the appropriate practice management software system, printing encounter forms, booking appointments, cash reconcilliation, and other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements: The physical and mental demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Position requires physical ability to move about the Health Center and to perform normal office tasks including computer data entry. Normal visual acuity and standard clerical dexterity to operate computers, printers, photocopiers, and fax machines; moderate walking, standing, reaching, and stooping in order to accomplish everyday office tasks.
