Pay Rate: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift Flexible Start Times

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Administrative certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree is a plus

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Receptionist or healthcare office experience required
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Experience with HIPAA regulations required
• Familiarity with ICD and CPT coding is a plus
• Strong administrative, organizational, and customer service skills
• Excellent computer, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure

Job Duties

• Greet and check in patients at multiple clinic locations
• Collect and verify insurance information and patient records
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient visits
• Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously
• Maintain confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Assist patients, physicians, and staff with administrative needs
• Complete accurate patient documentation and data entry
• Coordinate communication between departments and healthcare providers
• Monitor office supplies and assist with inventory management
• Support admissions and treatment processes as directed
• Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision
• Travel between two Dothan-area clinic locations as required

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday
• Frequent computer use, phone communication, and data entry
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy healthcare setting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
