About the Role:
Join the team at the Institute For Orthopedics & Chiropractic, PLLC as a Front Desk Receptionist, where you'll be the welcoming face of our clinic in Eden Prairie, MN. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth patient experience from the moment they walk in the door.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
- Collecting copays and patient balances.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and office organization.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Handle patient check-out and follow-up appointments.
- Support a positive office culture and contribute to team goals.
Requirements:
- Good attendance & punctuality is a must.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as a receptionist preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Proficiency in using office software and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of insurance processes and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Positive attitude and a team player with a passion for patient care.
- Ability to travel to our St. Paul location for coverage.
