We are a busy Optometry practice located in Franklin, MA. We are hoping to fill an open position at our front desk. This role is essential in our day to day happenings in the office and a vital part of our patient care.
This is a part-time role. Hours include Monday-Thursday. Schedule flexibility is a must.
As a medical receptionist, you make the first impression on our office. A warm and inviting personality is a must. We are looking for a great team player!
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or graduation equivalency (GED)
Knowledge of clinical procedures and medical terminology
Knowledge of office procedures usually including administrative processes and procedures, claims processing, preparing patient charts, and basic computer skills
Experience and Skills:
Experience in previous medical office as a receptionist or a minimum of one-year work experience in a MEDICAL office setting. Must have experience in verifying insurances and phone etiquette!
Type: Part Time 30 hours
