Front Desk Scheduler | Outpatient | Temporary | 301 Dodson Street, Midland, TX 79701

Midland Physical Therapy, an H2 Health company, is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Front Desk Scheduler to support our busy pre-employment testing department in Midland, Texas. This temporary role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys helping people, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

For more than 30 years, our clinic has built a strong reputation in the Midland community through compassionate care, professionalism, and teamwork. As the first point of contact for patients, candidates, and referral partners, you will play a critical role in creating a positive experience while helping our team operate efficiently.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday–Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM

Temporary Assignment: Mid-June 2026 – November 2026

Your Role:

  • Schedule pre-employment testing appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Answer and manage multiple phone lines professionally
  • Welcome and assist patients, candidates, and visitors
  • Prepare charts and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collect payments and support front office operations
  • Communicate effectively with referral sources, employers, and healthcare providers
  • Maintain an organized and professional reception area
  • Support smooth patient flow and daily clinic operations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Previous receptionist, scheduling, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and web-based systems
  • Typing speed of 40–50 words per minute preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
