Responsibilities:
- Follows all Front End procedures
- Greets and thanks customers; provides a high level of prompt, friendly, professional customer service
- Efficiently and accurately scans orders; properly identifies items
- Accurately handles customer cash, credit / debit payments, WIC, EBT, checks, gift cards, and change
- Knowledgeable on weekly ad items; gives customers direction of product locations throughout the stores
- Bags customer groceries and takes them to customer cars, if needed, or properly asks for assistance on behalf of the customer
- Willingness to help with other tasks to maintain clean and orderly condition of the store, including but not limited to: stocking / facing shelves, dusting, maintaining employee breakroom, maintaining customer and employee restrooms, sweeping, collecting carts and baskets, etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write and count

- Ability to perform repetitious activities; manual dexterity to scan and/or key groceries
