Front-End Developer

Location: Denver, CO (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join a dynamic Scrum team. This role involves building and maintaining highly used and critically important cloud-native applications that provide situational awareness and collaboration capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript development, experience with modern software development practices, and will work closely with the back-end team to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain intuitive cloud-native applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Write efficient code to address concurrency and near-real-time needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and cloud technologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Work within a secure facility.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Java Springboot, Kafka, and REST.
• Familiarity with multi-threading and concurrent loading.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or graduation from an accredited coding bootcamp.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working collaboratively with a back-end team.
• Strong system design and architecture skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Security+ certification within six months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern frameworks, such as the Svelte library.
• Experience with WebSockets or Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes or other containerized environments.
• A track record of successful delivery of complex, mission-critical applications.
