Front End Supervisor

Position Summary

The Front End Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of our guest-facing departments, including the Front Desk, Attraction Attendants, and Snack Bar. This position serves as the leader on the front line, ensuring guests receive outstanding service while maintaining smooth, efficient operations throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is an energetic leader who enjoys working with people, coaching employees, solving problems, and creating memorable experiences for every guest. This position is hands-on and works alongside the team while providing leadership and direction during every shift.

Primary Responsibilities

Guest Experience
Deliver exceptional customer service and lead by example.
Ensure every guest is welcomed with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Maintain a fun, clean, and safe environment throughout the facility.
Promote The Alley experience by encouraging guests to enjoy all attractions and services.

Team Leadership

Supervise Front Desk, Attraction Attendants, and Snack Bar team members.
Assign work responsibilities and monitor daily performance.
Coach employees through positive feedback and ongoing training.
Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
Communicate company policies and operational expectations.

Front Desk Operations

Oversee guest check-in and attraction sales.
Ensure accurate cash handling and point-of-sale transactions.
Monitor reservations, lane assignments, and attraction scheduling.
Assist with party check-ins and group events.
Help maximize sales through suggestive selling and package upgrades.

Attractions amp; Snack Bar

Ensure attractions are staffed and operating efficiently.
Monitor laser tag, arcade, and bumper car operations to maintain safety and guest satisfaction.
Assist Snack Bar staff in maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and speed of service.
Ensure all guest areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Operations

Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Monitor staffing levels and communicate operational needs to management.
Ensure company procedures and safety standards are followed.
Complete shift reports and communicate important information to management.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility.

Qualifications

Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail, entertainment, or family entertainment centers is a plus.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer and point-of-sale experience.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
