Front-End Developer (Hybrid)

Location: Dearborn, MI

Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite per week)

Employment Type: W2 Contract

Compensation: $58-60 per hour with benefits

Epitec is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join a dynamic development team focused on building modern, user-friendly web applications. This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging modern front-end technologies to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and end users to understand business needs, pain points, and requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality front-end solutions using modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Create responsive, accessible, and engaging user interfaces that align with enterprise design standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, back-end developers, architects, and other team members throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and improve new features and functionality.
• Participate in UI design reviews, product demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
• Perform automated functional testing and UI testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and continuously optimize application performance.
• Ensure adherence to architecture standards, coding best practices, accessibility requirements, and SEO principles.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to improve development efficiency and user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 6+ years of overall IT experience.

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.

• Practical experience in at least two programming languages or advanced expertise in one programming language.

• Strong front-end development experience using:

• HTML

• CSS

• JavaScript

• React and/or Angular

• Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly web applications.

• Familiarity with automated testing and UI testing practices.

• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.

• Experience collaborating within Agile or cross-functional development teams.
